KU volleyball to meet Arkansas

Kansas University’s volleyball team will meet Arkansas at 1 p.m. today at Horejsi Center.

The Jayhawks, 7-1, are coming off Thursday’s sweep of previously undefeated BYU. Arkansas, 6-1, fell to BYU on Friday afternoon, 3-0.

Arkansas is led by outside hitter Denitza Koleva, who averages a team-best 3.79 kills per game and a .278 attack mark.

The Razorbacks’ 6-0 start was the school’s best since a 7-0 mark in 2002. Arkansas returns 10 letterwinners to a squad that finished 21-12 and won the Southeastern Conference (West) last season.
