Houston ? Ron Dayne signed with Houston on Monday, reuniting the free-agent running back with new Texans head coach Gary Kubiak.

Dayne, the 1999 Heisman Trophy winner, was cut by the Denver Broncos on Saturday after entering training camp as the starting tailback.

Also on Monday, Houston signed safety Kevin Curtis, quarterback Quinton Porter, receiver Richie Ross and guard Mike Brisiel to the practice squad.
