The Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at six and a half tables. The Aug. 23 game was directed by Virginia Seaver. Suzanne Wassmer and Wanda Durbin led the North-South pairs, winning first in A and B. Virginia Seaver and Madelyn Jenks won second in A and B and Carol Ball and Chris Lane won third. Chuck Hedges and Mona Bell won first in C, and Martie Hartman and Betty Spalsbury won second.

Playing East-West, Bebe Huxtable and Wanna Roszel won first overall, placing first in A, B and C. Eldon Herd and Lois Clark won second in A and B, followed by Sally Taylor and Yvonne Hedges who won third in both strata.

The Wednesday Evening Bridge Club played a team game at two and half tables. Don Brennaman directed the Aug. 23 game. Shari Krentzel and Judy Bevan won first in A and B, followed by Al Ballard and Don Brennaman who won second in A. Fran Vogel and Alice Leitch won third in A and second in B.

The Friday Afternoon Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at 10 tables. The Aug. 25 game was directed by Don Brennaman. Playing North-South, Madelyn Jenks and Mona Bell won first in A, B and C. Lois Clark and Harry Shaffer won second in A and B, and Julia Brooks and Chris Lane won third. Betty Spalsbury and Jolene Andersen won second in C.

At East-West, Emily Foster and Sam Pierron won first in A, B and C. Terry Tolar and James Zhang won second in A and B, and Paul Heitzman and Dave Piro won third in A. Ann Thompson and Carol Ball won second in C.

Lois Jones and Clyde Romer won first in A playing North-South. Dorothy Netson and Barbara Merriam won second in A and first in B and C. Shirley Reese and Chris Lane won second in B and third in A. Pat Musick and Jolene Andersen won second in C.

At East-West, Donna Johnson and Paul Heitzman won first in A followed by Pete Petillo and Dave Piro who won second. Yvonne and Chuck Hedges won third in A and first in B. Janice and Kelley Bremer won first in C and second in B, and Don Daugherty and Harry Talley won second in C.
