WAMEGO ? Seabury Academy placed eighth Saturday at the Class 1A boys state cross country meet.

Bill Butler led the Seahawks with a 27th-place finish in 19:44.09. Cody Jones was next for Seabury in 49th with a time of 20:21.18.

“It was our goal to make it here as a team,” Seabury coach Eric Nelson said. “I think we ran pretty well.”

Tribune won the team title.
