NEWTON ? Free State senior Laura Devlin and Perry-Lecompton senior Jennifer Pogge placed in the top six in the all-around at regionals Saturday to qualify for the state gymnastics meet in the vault, uneven parallel bars, balance beam and floor exercise.

Pogge placed first in the all-around, taking first in bars, first in beam, third in floor and fourth in vault.

Devlin was fifth in the all-around, including a third-place in the uneven parallel bars.

The state meet will be Saturday at Shawnee Mission East.
