KU swimmers fall to Missouri, 187-111

? Kansas University’s swimming and diving team fell to Missouri, 187-111, on Friday. The loss moves KU to 2-1 overall and 0-1 in Big 12 Conference competition.

Senior diver Shelby Noonan led the way for the Jayhawks, finishing first on the one-meter board with a score of 250.35 and third on the three-meter board (258.00).

Sophomore Danielle Herrmann was second in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:05.52) and 200-yard IM (2:07.88). Herrmann also clocked in at 2:23.29 in the 200-yard breaststroke, good for third place.

Sophomore Maria Mayrovich led the way in the 100-yard freestyle (51.69), winning the event for the second meet this season.

Lawrence native Ashley Robinson took second place in the 500-yard freestyle (4:59.86).
