Second trial postponed for group-home worker

The second jury trial for a former group-home worker charged with abusing a mentally disabled client has been postponed until February.

At his first trial earlier this year, Dustin D. Taylor, 21, a former employee of Community Living Opportunities, was found not guilty of some charges, but Atty. Gen. Phill Kline’s office is seeking to retry him on charges for which jurors couldn’t reach a verdict.

He and another man, Eric S. Wyatt, were charged last year with abusing the same man while working at Ponderosa House group home. Wyatt is due to be sentenced next month.
