Raiders RB Jordan misses another practice

LaMont Jordan missed practice Wednesday because of a sore back and is questionable for Sunday’s game against Pittsburgh.

Jordan hurt his back Oct. 15 against Denver and missed one practice last week. He was expected to be healthy enough to play against Arizona, but re-aggravated the back in warmups and sat out the Raiders’ 22-9 victory over the Cardinals.

Justin Fargas got the majority of work in Jordan’s absence, carrying 23 times for 66 yards. Zack Crockett added 44 yards on eight carries, and ReShard Lee ran for a one-yard score.

Coach Art Shell said he would rotate those three backs again if Jordan, who leads the team with 314 yards rushing, is not healthy.

“That three-headed tandem, I thought they did well and that bodes well for us this week if LaMont can’t go,” Shell said.
