Dillons store suffers 6-hour power outage
The power went out at Dillons grocery store at 1015 W. 23rd St. for nearly six hours Wednesday, causing about $200 in damaged food.
The power went out about 8 a.m. and came back on at 2 p.m., according to store employees.
A spokeswoman for the store said an inspector from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment checked the food at the store to ensure its safety.
The store reopened at 3 p.m.
