Suspended Kansas University basketball player C.J. Giles’ court date to face an allegation he owes $4,097 in unpaid child support has been postponed from Monday to 9 a.m. on Jan. 8.

The purpose of the hearing before Judge Pro Tem Peggy Kittel will be for Giles to give a reason why he should not be held in contempt of court for not supporting his child, Jaiden, born March 31, 2005.

A court document instructs him to bring paycheck stubs and other documentation of his income.
