Walk to help support Uganda children
The Kansas University student group KU 4 Uganda is having its second annual GuluWalk, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the Kansas Union on KU’s campus.
The fundraiser aims to raise awareness of the children in northern Uganda who walk up to 12 miles a day to sleep in cities and avoid abduction by the Lord’s Resistance Army.
