Oct. 31 event to cater to trick-or-treaters
Trick-or-treating will return to downtown Lawrence this Halloween.
Downtown merchants will greet children in costume with treats and Halloween trinkets from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Halloween night.
Downtown Lawrence Inc., which is organizing the event, is urging people to consider parking in the two-hour and long-term lots along New Hampshire and Vermont streets or in the city parking garage at Ninth and New Hampshire streets.
