Kansas University swept the Big 12 Conference soccer weekly awards for last week.

Sophomore midfielder Jessica Bush (offensive), goalkeeper Julie Hanley (defensive) and freshman Monica Dolinsky (newcomer) each captured player-of-the-week recognition for the first time this season.

It’s the first time since the league started honoring three athletes in 2000 that one school has won all three awards.

KU swept a pair of contests on the road over the weekend, defeating Iowa State, 2-0, Friday and Missouri, 4-0, Sunday.

Bush, a 5-foot-2 midfielder from Blue Springs, Mo., scored three goals in the two Jayhawk victories and tallied the game-winning goal in both matches. She is currently second on the team with five goals and 12 points this season.

Hanley, a 5-foot-9 goalkeeper from Indianapolis, earned recorded her fifth shutout of the season Friday and did not allow a goal in 76 minutes Sunday.

Dolinsky, a 5-foot-5 midfielder from Carmel, Ind., scored six points in Sunday’s victory over Mizzou, becoming just the sixth player in KU history to accomplish this feat.

Kansas (9-6, 4-3 in Big 12 play) will host to Baylor on Friday.
