The Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at eight and a half tables directed by Virginia Seaver on Oct. 4.

Seaver and her partner, Madelyn Jenks, won first in A at North/South, followed by Harry Shaffer and Ed Howard who won second. Third place in A was won by Wanda Durbin and Suzanne Wassmer, both of Ottawa. Mona Bell and Betty Collier won first in B and C, and Chris Lane and Chuck Hedges won second in B. Second in C was won by Frances Vogel and Mary Joyce who also placed third in B.

Playing East-West, Nita Scales and Carol Ball won first overall, winning first in A, B and C. Lois Clark and Cathy Blumenfeld won second in A and B, and Ann Thompson and Pat Musick won second in C and third in A and B.

The Monday Evening Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at 11 tables directed by Virginia Seaver on Oct. 9. Kent McCullough and Larry Bodle led the North-South pairs winning first in A. Jolene Andersen and Pat Musick won second in A and first in B and C, followed by Lois Clark and Harry Shaffer won third in A and took second in B. Madelyn Jenks and Phyllis Brownlee won third in B and Shari Krentzel and Dorothy Netson won second in C.

Sitting East-West, Virginia Seaver and Paul Heitzman won first in A, followed by Donna Johnson and Jim Masilamani who won second. Third in A was won by Pete Petillo and Dave Piro. Bob Huffman and Don Bush won first in B. Lynn Hui and Terry Tolar won second in B, and Elle and Bobby Patton won first in C.

University Bridge Club announces winners of its Oct. 7 game. Hosts were Ray and Myrna Ikenberry.

Blue winners were Carl Schaake, first; Dale Kring, second; Ray Ikenberry, third; Florence McNicoll, fourth; and Mark Kuepker, fifth.

Pink winners were Isabelle Schaake, first; Lois Liebert, second; Jo Hicks, third; Mary Gaumer, fourth; and Carolyn Harden, fifth.
