Air Force Airman Ross J. Ray has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. During the six weeks of training, Ray studied the Air Force mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches; and participated in physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations.

Ray, a 2005 Lawrence High School graduate, is the son of Donald Ray, Eudora, and Donnia Ray, Sikeston, Mo.
