A couple of key reserves went down during practice Wednesday for the Kansas City Chiefs. Linebacker Rich Scanlon and offensive lineman Will Svitek both sustained knee injuries. Coach Herm Edwards said Scanlon would get an MRI on his right knee and Svitek would have a similar procedure on his left knee.

Quarterback Trent Green will miss his third straight game because of a severe concussion.
