Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence Police arrested a 47-year-old Lawrence man for charges including aggravated robbery, battery, criminal restraint and DUI after an incident that lasted from roughly 9:30 p.m. to 11:41 p.m. Monday in the 2100 block of Quail Creek Drive. A 51-year-old woman who is listed on a report as a girlfriend of the suspect told police the man came into her home, yelled at her, restrained her in a chair where she had been sitting and then pulled her off the chair. She told police she eventually got the man to leave and locked her front door, but that he apparently came back in through her basement. She walked out of the home and called 911 on her cell phone, but he came out of the front door, took her phone and left on foot, she told police. He was arrested in a traffic stop at 11:52 p.m. Police believe alcohol was a contributing factor.

¢ A 31-year-old Olathe man was booked into jail on drug charges after a traffic stop late Monday in the 1600 block of Haskell Avenue. Police seized baggies of suspected marijuana, digital scales and $158 cash. He was arrested for charges including possession with intent to sell marijuana and not having proof of insurance.

¢ An air ambulance flew one person from Allen Fieldhouse late Tuesday night with an unknown medical condition. The helicopter took off from the front lawn of the fieldhouse at 10:30 p.m. after the Kansas-Dartmouth basketball game. KU Public Safety officers said the incident did not involve a crime, but no further details were available.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ 200 block of West 10th Street: A 47-year-old resident of The Salvation Army shelter, 946 N.H., reported to police that someone stole her purse, identification and $1,000 worth of prescription drugs between 4 p.m. Saturday and 9:50 p.m. Sunday.

¢ 2500 block of West Sixth Street: A 22-year-old Lawrence man reported his 1978 Chevrolet Caprice, valued at $5,000, stolen between 5:30 a.m. and 7:17 a.m. Monday.
