STILLWATER, OKLA. ? As he saw Oklahoma State quarterback Zac Robinson’s fourth-down pass arc deep into the end zone toward receiver D’Juan Woods, several thoughts raced through the mind of Oklahoma cornerback Lendy Holmes.

“He can jump, I can jump,” Holmes said. “I know I’m a player, and I’m not going to let him catch it.”

Holmes got enough of it. The deflected ball sailed just beyond Woods’ fingertips, and the Sooners’ dramatic 27-21 victory over Oklahoma State on Saturday was finally safe.
