Entrepreneurs wanting to make presentations to some of the nation’s leading private equity firms at what’s billed as the Midwest’s premier business investment forum are urged to submit their applications in the next few weeks.

InvestMidwest Venture Capital Forum, a showcase for the best technology and high-growth companies in the Midwest, will be April 10-11 at the Sprint campus in Overland Park. Companies that presented at InvestMidwest during its first six years have raised more than $250 million in equity investment.

Entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply in time for the early bird deadline, which is Dec. 15. The final deadline is Jan. 12.

Last year’s forum featured 30 high-growth companies. One track focused on life sciences and biosciences companies, and the other track on general business and technology. The companies presented to investors from 40 national and regional venture capital firms.
