I have never felt uber-safe in Lawrence, I just felt that the LJW did a good job of keeping the crime out of the paper. It seems that after the Topeka and KC papers and TV's stations started doing a better job of reporting crime in Larryville the World Company has decided to do a more aggressive job.

zero: if you don't like "Marioen" he has also signed himself "Marioni" (my personal favorite) and "mamrion" which seems to have some connection to Jesus' "mammon."

Gee whiz, Marion, when I first read your post, I thought you were kind of bantering jovially. Little did I realize that joviality was manipulative, for the purpose of baiting someone into jovially bantering back so you could come down on how easily manipulated he or she is....
