Kansas University architecture student Hannah Franko has received a Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst award to be a Young Ambassador for the 2006-07 academic year.

Franko is a graduate student in KU’s professional masters of architecture program. She is one of 20 students who studied or interned in Germany in the 2005 academic year. In her role, Franko will be the primary contact for KU and other colleges in northeast Kansas.
