Lawrence Community Theatre will have auditions Nov. 28-Nov. 29 for James Sherman’s comedy “Jest a Second.” This sequel to last season’s popular “Beau Jest” continues the story of the Goldman family. A new baby is on the way for Sarah and Bob, while brother Joel is pursuing the doctor of his dreams and figuring out how to tell his parents, Abe and Miriam, that she is a he.

The cast will include Sarah and her husband, Bob, her brother, Joel, her parents, Miriam and Abe, and Dr. Rosen. The show is under the direction of Charles Whitman, assisted by Jeff Blair. Production dates for the show will be Jan. 10-Feb. 4.
