(Kansas won the game 8-6 to run its season record to 6-1-1.) : Word is that Cy Leland will be the next speaker of the Kansas House of Representatives. He has the firm backing of our own W.R. Stubbs, who previously held the post. : The Republican Central Committee has met to audit election bills and found there was ample money to cover all the expenses.
