Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Brian W. Beatty has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.

During the six weeks of training, Beatty studied the Air Force mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received training in physical fitness, rifle marksmanship, field exercises and human relations.

He is the son of Mack and Theresa Beatty, Perry, and is a 2006 graduate of Perry-Lecompton High School.
