The 15th Annual Choreographers’ Showcase, sponsored by the 940 Dance Company, will feature a day of new workshops and master classes as well as informal and formal showcases during Saturday’s event.

The Informal Choreographers’ Showcase takes the stage at 4 p.m. with professional, emerging and community choreographers. An evening Formal Showcase will feature regional professional choreographers and companies. The choreographers are from Lawrence, Kansas City, Kansas University and Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa.

The Formal Showcase will feature the work of the outstanding regional choreographers, including Michelle Diane Brown, Donna Frogge, Marisa MacKay, Susan Reiger, Cynthia Willsey, Shawn Womack, Jo Anne Zingo-Hargis, Kathleen O’Connor and Susan Warden.

The Informal Showcase will include works by Deborah Bettinger, Jessica Turner, Maya Tillman, Daneka Vann, Sarmishtha Sarkar, Michelle Shadan, Lindsay Spilker and Bobbi Foudree.

The cost for the entire day and both performances is $20. The Informal Showcase is a “donations appreciated” event. The Professional Showcase ticket prices are $13 for adults and $7.50 for students and seniors.
