Manhattan ? Melissa Haag collected 19 points and six rebounds as Haskell Indian Nations University opened its women’s basketball season with an 88-32 rout Wednesday of Manhattan Christian College.

Whitney Warrior added 14 points and six rebounds, Shara Brown had 13 points, and Sadie Brown added 12 points and seven rebounds.

HINU shot 47 percent as a team against Manhattan Christian, a team with which the Fightin’ Indians split last season.

Haskell will play host to Bacone on Thursday.
