Chicago Board of Trade

Soybean futures advanced Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade, while grain futures finished mixed. Wheat for July delivery fell 3 1/2 cents to $4.12 a bushel; July corn rose 1/2 cent to $2.54 1/2 a bushel; July oats remained unchanged at $1.80 1/4 a bushel; July soybeans rose 1 cent to $5.83 1/2 a bushel. Beef futures increased on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, while pork futures were mixed. June live cattle rose .65 cent to 80.05 cents a pound; August feeder cattle rose .67 cent to $1.0942 a pound; June lean hogs rose .92 cent to 67.70 cents a pound; July pork bellies fell .47 cent to 80.77 cents a pound.
