The Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center will receive a grant to help fund the Working to Recognize Alternative Possibilities Program and Evaluation Project.

The Topeka-based Sunflower Foundation has awarded the $22,553 grant that will be used to partially fund an evaluation specialist, who will study nine years of data from WRAP interventions in school settings to determine their efficacy.

Overall, the study could help remove barriers to learning, improve children’s capacity to learn and help children become more productive members of society, Bert Nash staff members said.
