University Bridge Club announces the results of its May 20 game. Host was Dale Kring, who was elected president for 2006-2007.

Blue winners were: George Bocquin, first; Paul Jordan, second; Al Smith, third; Ray Ikenberry, fourth; Roy Cropp, fifth; Hank Miller, sixth; Dale Kring, seventh; and Don Whitaker, eighth. Pink winners were: Alice Akin, first; Edna Galle, second; Donna Reihm, third; Carol Smith, fourth; Dottie Miller, fifth; Gladys Dight, sixth; Gini Wigington, seventh; and Myrna Ikenberry, eighth.

¢ The Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at six and a half tables. The May 17 game was directed by Virginia Seaver. Patt Radford and Lois Clark won first in A playing North-South. Second in A went to Mona Bell and Chris Lane, followed by Martie Hartman and Betty Spalsbury who won third in A and first in B and C. Frances Vogel and Florine Creek won second in B and C.

At East-West, Madelyn Jenks and Virginia Seaver won first in A, and Mary Joyce and Wanna Roszel won second in A and first in B and C. Eldon Herd and Shirlie Vaughn won third in A. Betty Collier and Klee Zaricky were second in B and Harriet Olson and Bobbie Figgins won second in C.

¢ The Wednesday Evening Bridge Club played a Howell movement at four tables directed by Don Brennaman on May 17. Shari Krentzel and Charlie Vaughn won first in A, followed by Jolene Andersen and Jeanne Landry in second. Dick Moore and Bobbie McCorkle won first in B and third in A.

¢ The Friday Afternoon Bridge Club played six and a half tables in a stratified Howell movement on May 19. Clyde Romer and Kent McCullough won first in A and Virginia Seaver and Klee Zaricky won second. Wanda Durbin and Jean Otney won third in A. Lois Clark and Betty Collier won first in both B and C. Second in B was won by Mona Bell and Madelyn Jenks. Marilyn Martin and Clarice Broz won second in C.

¢ The Monday Evening Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at nine tables directed by Virginia Seaver. Madelyn Jenks and Phyllis Brownlee won first in A and B sitting at North-South. Sally Taylor and Shirlie Vaughn won second in A. Albert Ballard and Betty Spalsbury won third in A and first in C and second in B. Pat Burgstahler and Martie Hartman won second in C.

At East-West, Terry Tolar and Emily Foster won first in A and B, followed by Harry Shaffer and Ed Howard who won second in A. Dorothy Netson and Barbara Merriam won third in A, second in B and first in C. Russell LaForce and Ann Thompson won second in C.
