¢ Werling Golf Titlist: Rob Werling shot a 75 and won Saturday's Jayhawk Golf Club Guest Day tournament at Alvamar by two strokes over Van Reichert. Chad Roesler carded 78 for third. In net scoring, Steve Crawford was low with 64, followed by Ed Phlegar 67 and Neal Ezell 69. In guest scoring, Chuck Norris had the low gross with 78 and Chris Weishar low net at 72.

¢ Hyde, Boeck Winners: Lawrence's Karen Hyde and Dee Boeck were age-group winners in the One Hill of a Run 5K Saturday in Merriam. Age-group third-places went to Lawrence's Celeste Leonardi and Tonganoxie's Wally Brawner.

¢ Sponsors Needed: Team Kansas, a group of 30 volleyball players between the ages of 13 and 28, is seeking donations and sponsorships in order to compete in the North American Indigenous Games July 2-9 in Denve. If interested, call Judith Gipp at 331-7715.
