Kansas University Chancellor Clarke Wescoe approved new regulations for women, sharply altering the “closing hour” situation (much later hours) to “keep pace with changing times.”

Bill and Charles Kerfoot, twin graduates at Kansas University, were to go their separate ways after commencement, for the first time of separation in their lives. Bill was going to Harvard for graduate study in biology and Charles was to go to Michigan for work in geology-zoology. Both planned teaching careers.
