Add roundabouts
To the editor:
I’m finally compelled to write this letter. I’m tired of people badmouthing the roundabouts.
The gas and time savings alone that we as a community realize should easily pay the cost. Not starting from a dead stop is a big savings.
Plus the quality of life of our neighbors living next to these intersections has to be greatly improved by less noise and less pollution.
In a small way, they might also teach us to share and be courteous towards one another and think as a community.
I say add more roundabouts.
