The Nuclear Regulatory Commission presented Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corp. management its annual safety performance assessment of Wolf Creek Generating Station during a recent public meeting.

Inspection results during 2005 found Wolf Creek Generating Station operated “in a manner that preserved public health and safety and met all cornerstone objectives,” said Steve Cochrum, NRC senior resident inspector. Based on Wolf Creek’s performance, the NRC will conduct only baseline inspections at the plant through October 2007.
