Holland files to seek third term in House

State Rep. Tom Holland, a Democrat from Baldwin, has filed for re-election.

“My focus will continue to be on making health insurance affordable for working Kansans, protecting and growing Kansas jobs, and K-12 education,” Holland said.

Holland has served two terms in the Kansas House.

He is the ranking Democrat on the Health and Human Services Committee and serves on the House Education Committee and Governmental Organization and Elections Committee.

The district he represents includes southern Douglas and northern Franklin counties.

Holland is president of an information technology consulting firm. He is married and has four children.
