The U13 Kaw Valley Force girls team posted a strong showing in the Governor’s Cup May 6-7 in Topeka. In their final game May 7, the team defeated the Blue Valley Stars Revolution 2-0 to garner the third-place honors. On May 5, the team tied with the KCKSA Alliance, 2-2, and the Wichita Flash, 0-0 to open play in the tournament. Marley Sutter and Lynn Robinson scored the goals for the Force in the third place game.
