Lawrence High will travel Tuesday to Manhattan to face Topeka High, and Free State will stay at home Wednesday to face Leavenworth in the first round of Class 6A baseball regionals.

Fourth-seeded LHS (12-8) will face No. 5 seed Topeka High (9-11) at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Top seed Manhattan (17-3) will meet No. 8 seed Junction City (1-19) at 4:30. First-round winners will meet at 7 p.m. with a trip to state on the line.

Wednesday, second-seeded FSHS (17-3) will meet seventh-seeded Leavenworth (1-19) at 4:30 p.m. at Free State. The winner of that game will play either Wichita Heights (No. 3 seed, 14-6) or Washburn Rural (No. 6 seed, 6-14). Heights and rural will be at 2 p.m. The championship game is at 7 p.m.
