Law enforcement report

¢ Police arrested a 21-year-old Lawrence man early Thursday for causing a scene at Quinton’s Bar & Deli, 615 Mass. A bar manager told officers two people had been trying to steal empty kegs from behind the bar.

Police saw one of the men on the roof of the building when they arrived and later tried to talk to him inside the bar. He refused to talk with officers and scuffled with them when they tried to arrest him, according to a report. He was charged Thursday with criminal trespassing, obstruction and theft.

¢ A 24-year-old Baldwin woman living in the 1700 section of North 600 Road has been arrested on a warrant alleging possession with intent to sell drugs. She was booked Wednesday afternoon into the Douglas County Jail.

¢ Police arrested a 26-year-old Lawrence woman Wednesday evening for striking two male family members with a cane at an apartment in the 500 block of California Street. The victims, ages 22 and 56, suffered possible internal injuries but were not taken to the hospital, according to a police report. The woman was charged Thursday with two counts of domestic battery.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ Between May 1 and May 4, someone stole a $1,200 Dell laptop computer, a case and a battery charger from Fraser Hall on the Kansas University campus.
