Law enforcement report

Lawrence Police are investigating reports of a 16-year-old runaway being raped Tuesday in Lawrence.

The officers found the girl hiding in a vacant lot in North Lawrence. She told police that a 46-year-old man she’d been staying with during the last two months had raped her.

Police said they have identified a suspect, but no arrests have been made.
