Several members of the Haskell Indian Nations University faculty were recognized during an awards ceremony Friday:

¢ Teacher excellence – Trish Reeves, English instructor.

¢ Faculty member of the year – Sharon Atkinson, math instructor.

¢ Excellence in coaching – Phil Homeratha, women’s basketball coach.

¢ nstitutional service – John Howland, Indian studies instructor.

Recent retirees Earl Waters and Clint Leon were recognized for the 25 years each spent at Haskell.
