University Bridge Club announces the winners of its April 29 game. Hosts were Ray and Myrna Ikenberry. Blue winners were: George Bocquin, first; Florence McNicoll, second; Gladys Dight, third; Lois Liebert, fourth; and Tom Waller, fifth. Pink winners were: Rhetta Jo Noever, first; Willie Stoltenberg, second; Myrna Ikenberry, third; Aileen Bocquin, fourth; and Jean Etherton, fifth.

¢ The Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at eight tables. The April 26 game was directed by Virginia Seaver. Playing North-South, Virginia Seaver and Chuck Hedges won first in A. Harriett Olson and Linda Heavin won first in B and C and second in A. Harry Shaffer and James Zhang won third in A. Phyllis Brownlee and Virginia Eddy won second in B.

At East-West, Dave Piro and Paul Heitzman won first in A, followed by Sally Taylor and Yvonne Hedges who won second. Eldon Herd and Shirlie Vaughn won third in A. Lois Clark and Cathy Blumenfeld won first in B and C, and Grant Sutton and Ann Thompson won second in B and C.

¢ The Wednesday Evening Bridge Club played Swiss teams at four tables. The April 26 game was directed by Don Brennaman. John and Shirley Reese and Mike Lee and Earl Core won first, followed by Betty Spalsbury, Steve Rego, Pat Musick and Don Brennaman.

¢ The Friday Afternoon Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at 10 tables on April 28. Don Brennaman directed the game. Phyllis Brownlee and Virginia Seaver won first in A playing North-South, followed by Shirley Reese and Yvonne Hedges who won second. Erna Holmes and Frances Vogel won third in A. Shirlie Vaughn and Sidney Sutton won first in B, and Fiona Rochelle and Gladys Rivard won second in B and first in C.

At East-West, Cathy and Mike Blumenfeld won first in all three strata. Sally Taylor and Klee Zaricky won second in A, and Grant Sutton and Don Brennaman won third in A and second in B. Ann Thompson and Carol Ball won second in C.

¢ The Kaw Valley Bridge Club celebrated its first anniversary last Saturday with a single session Swiss team game and a potluck lunch. Twenty teams were directed by John Glagola, of Belton, Mo. Stephen Day’s team won the event. His teammates were Sitaraman Sathiamoorth, Sidney Sutton and Shirlie Vaughn.

¢ The Monday Evening Bridge Club for May 1 was directed by Virginia Seaver. Nine and a half tables played a stratified Mitchell movement.

At North-South, Larry Bodle and Kent McCullough won first in A. Terry Tolar and Harry Shaffer won second in A and Lois Jones and Jeff Nash won third. Madelyn Jenks and Phyllis Brownlee won first in B and Betty Spalsbury and Al Ballard won first in C and second in B.

At East-West, Paul Heitzman and Donna Johnson won first in A, followed by Dave Piro and Peter Petillo in second. Kathryn Hagen and Margrete Hartman won first in B and C and third in A. Dorothy Netson and Barbara Merriam won second in B and C.
