Equal treatment

To the editor:

Oh, come on, traffic safety folks! Even I admit my driving is affected when I'm on a cell phone. That's why I try to avoid using it while driving. But for you to point the nasty finger of blame at teenagers only is absurd! There's far many more soccer moms and business dads out there driving poorly while they talk and eat and drink and read and :

If you're gonna ban 'em, by gosh, you better ban them for everybody!

I concur...especially Lawrence cops also...I'm looking forward to the day of the ban so I won't have to witness them yapping on their cell-phones while driving.

How about business moms and soccer dads?

Well, OK, so there is poorer driving while holding the cell phone to your ear. So we should get wireless earphones, blue tooth, what ever, not ban cell phone usage altogether. We always seem to go overboard on things.

For some really interesting viewing you should view this:

It is a bit long, but asks some interesting questions.

Speakout--already watched that thing 3 times. Very powerful and compelling evidence. Too bad the mainstream media refuses to pick up on this, and instead writes it off as fiction.
