TOPEKA ? Kansas lawmakers adjourned their regular legislative session today.
The Legislature is scheduled to come back for its wrap-up session April 26.
Left undone was funding public schools and proposals to increase punishment of sex offenders.
The House has approved a three-year $633 million school funding increase, but the Senate has failed to adopt a counter-proposal.
The Kansas Supreme Court has ordered lawmakers to increase school funding in compliance with a cost study that says more money should be dedicated to helping students from low-income families.
