Kansas’ Kemp invited to participate in WNBA camp

Kansas University graduating senior Crystal Kemp plans to take part in the WNBA pre-draft camp Monday at Emmanuel College in Boston.

Kemp is one of about 40 seniors who will be evaluated by WNBA coaches and general managers in the camp with the hopes of being selected in next Wednesday’s WNBA Draft.

A Topeka native, Kemp averaged career-highs of 18.6 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. Her 1,637 points and 826 rebounds made her just the sixth player in KU history to accumulate over 1,600 career points and 800 career rebounds.
