Game can’t pull Pacino back in
Once you reach the “Intensive Care” mission in “The Godfather: The Game,” you’ll meet up with a Michael Corleone who looks and sounds absolutely nothing like Al Pacino.
In a video game that tries hard to get every last detail right, the absence of Pacino leaves a huge hole. What gives?
Pacino, it seems, refused to lend his likeness to the game – despite having no problem participating in Vivendi’s “Scarface” video game, due out later this year.
Pacino and EA aren’t talking about it. But EA did hire James Caan, Robert Duvall and, amazingly, Marlon Brando to reprise their roles from the film.
