Roscoe Kesling and his son, Rossie Kesling, were guest speakers at the Douglas County 4-H Horse Project’s Jan. 17 meeting.

The Four Leaf Clover 4-H Club met March 13. The meeting was called to order by Weston Allen. The club recited the flag salute and sang “Five Hairy Apes.” Jen Livingood read the minutes from the last meeting.

Paula Aiken, club leader, reported:

¢ Summer camp applications are due April 3.

¢ The club collected 160 food items that were donated to local food pantries as part of the State 4-H Food Drive.

¢ Members enrolled in livestock projects should be watching the newsletter for updates about project opportunities.

The club will be having a concession stand at the Antique Auto Club Swap Meet on May 5 and 6. Members enrolled in the foods project gave a talk about the ingredients for chocolate chip cookies.

The next meeting will be April 10.
