Cancer survivor to share experiences
Cancer survivor Nancy Hawkins, of Lawrence, will share her experience with the disease and present “Advances in Cancer Research” at 7 p.m. Thursday at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, 325 Maine. Hawkins works with research scientists and physicians to decide which cancer grant requests receive funding from the American Cancer Society.
