Students chosen to direct plays at KU

Two Kansas University students have been selected to direct productions in the 2006 Student Play Festival.

“Pippin,” directed by Eric Avery, Topeka senior, will play at 7:30 p.m. April 6-8 and 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. April 9. “Stop Kiss,” directed by Rachael Perry, Topeka senior, will play at 7:30 p.m. April 13-15 and 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. April 16. All performances are at the William Inge Memorial Theatre in Murphy Hall.

Lawrence students participating in the production are senior Tiffani Hefley, costume designer for “Pippin,” junior Pearson Skepnek, cast at Peter in “Stop Kiss,” and freshman Christopher Trepinski, cast as Baron and Noble in “Pippin.”
