Kansas University’s softball team is in Honolulu this weekend for its final nonconference tournament of the season.

The Jayhawks (13-12) will meet No. 16-ranked Northwestern at 4 p.m. today. On Saturday, KU will play Longwood at 6 p.m. and host Hawaii at 8 p.m. Sunday’s doubleheader will be against Oklahoma State (2 p.m.) and San Diego State (4 p.m.).

In the San Diego State game, the Jayhawks may face Christina Ross, a left-handed pitcher who transferred to the California school after posting a 12-9 record and a 1.93 earned-run average as a KU freshman last year.

Ross leads the Aztecs with a 6-3 record and an 0.94 earned-run average.
