Douglas County taxpayers have until Wednesday to sign and return their 2006 personal property assessment forms to the Douglas County Appraiser’s Office at the Douglas County Courthouse.

Completed forms include a list of taxable personal property, such as boats, mobile homes, large trucks, trailers, business machinery and equipment.

Forms were mailed to such taxpayers Dec. 30. Anyone who owns such property but hasn’t received a form should contact the appraiser’s office at 832-5289.
