Injury accidents

¢ A Lawrence woman was treated and released from Lawrence Memorial Hospital after being struck by a truck while crossing the street Monday in a crosswalk in downtown Lawrence.

The woman, 51-year-old Denise J. Lampert, was struck at 10th and Vermont streets about 12:20 p.m. Monday by a Ford F-150 truck driven by Darrel D. Proffitt, 50, Lawrence. He was cited by police for not yielding to Lampert.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 53-year-old man’s Pontiac Sunfire valued at $5,100 was stolen between 3:40 p.m. and 4:10 p.m. Monday from the 3000 block of West Sixth Street.
